To tell anyone that a seventeen to twenty-two in this society that they have a mind worth making up, is only to continue to endure them into the worst habits of modernity … I tell my students that the last thing in the world that I want them to do when they take my class, is to learn to think for themselves ... By the time they finish the course I expect them to think just like me."
